In the eagerly awaited cinematic realm, the biographical masterpiece 'Sam Bahadur,' featuring the versatile Vicky Kaushal, finally graced theaters on December 1 after a protracted period of anticipation. Even in the face of stiff competition from Ranbir Kapoor's much-anticipated 'Animal,' 'Sam Bahadur' emerged victorious with a commendable opening at the box office. Despite an impressive performance in its initial three days, the film experienced a noticeable decline in collections on the fourth day of its cinematic voyage.

The cinematic venture reportedly amassed a respectable sum of 6.25 crore rupees on its inaugural day, followed by an upward trajectory with 9 crore rupees on the second day and an even more substantial 10.3 crore rupees on the third day. However, the enthusiasm witnessed a perceptible downturn on the fourth day of release. According to estimations, the film is anticipated to accrue approximately 2.8 crores on Monday, culminating in a cumulative domestic box office collection of 28.35 crores for 'Sam Bahadur.'

Simultaneously introduced into the cinematic arena, Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' is grappling with a similar descent in its fourth-day earnings at the domestic box office, with predicted settlements hovering around 38.00 crores. Despite its promising commencement, boasting figures of 63.8 crores on the first day, 66.27 crores on the second day, and an impressive 71.46 crores on the third day, 'Animal' seems to be losing momentum in its collection trajectory.

Under the adept direction of Meghna Gulzar, 'Sam Bahadur' unfurls the chronicles of India's inaugural Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw, shedding light on his instrumental role in India's historic triumph during the 1971 war against Pakistan. Vicky Kaushal undertakes the daunting task of portraying the indomitable Sam Manekshaw, while Fatima Sana Shaikh assumes the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, and Sanya Malhotra contributes significantly to the film's ensemble cast, adding depth and resonance to this cinematic Odyssey.
