The primary objective of this grand celebration at NMACC was to embrace and celebrate Indian classical music, a treasure trove of melodic artistry that has withstood the test of time. The entire event served as a testament to Nita Ambani's profound love for India and her dedication to showcasing its rich cultural heritage. Through the captivating melodies, the audience was transported on a musical voyage that offered a tantalizing glimpse into the soul of India. Appropriately titled "Parampara - Guru Purnima Special," the event aimed to capture the essence of this revered tradition.

The highlight of the evening was a mesmerizing performance by Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, a legendary sarod maestro, along with his gifted sons, Amaan and Ayaan Ali Bangash. The presence of Khan's grandsons, Johaan and Abir Ali Bangash, added an extra touch of familial resonance to the event. The audience was also enthralled by the enchanting flute recital by Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, an eminent flautist whose artistry knows no bounds. Accompanying him were his nephew Rakesh Chaurasia, a brilliant flautist in his own right, and the accomplished sitar player Kartik Kumar, who graced the stage with their son Nildari Kumar.

In a press release, Nita Ambani underscored the multifaceted role of a guru, highlighting that they not only impart knowledge but also play a crucial part in helping individuals discover their life's purpose. The guru-shishya relationship, she emphasized, is founded upon the pillars of discipline, dedication, and respect. Nita Ambani expressed her gratitude for the enlightened gurus she has encountered on her personal journey, stating, "It is a privilege to have crossed paths with such extraordinary mentors who have guided me in profound ways." Drawing from her own experiences, she emphasized the importance of honoring and respecting parents, referring to her own mother, Purnima, as an embodiment of these values.

Additionally, Nita Ambani took a moment to reflect on the 21st anniversary of the passing of her revered father-in-law, Dhirubhai Ambani, which falls on the 6th of July. She acknowledged that although he may no longer be physically present, his legacy lives on in the hearts of countless Indians. With deep reverence, she paid tribute to the man who continues to inspire millions through his entrepreneurial spirit and philanthropic endeavors.
