This project is special not only because it brings Sunny Deol back but also because it marks the collaboration of Sunny Deol, director Rajkumar Santoshi, and Aamir Khan. 

Aamir Khan Productions recently made the announcement, expressing their enthusiasm for this project. They said, "I, and the entire team at AKP, are most excited and happy to announce our next film, starring Sunny Deol, directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, titled Lahore, 1947.
