The conclusion of the latest season of Bigg Boss on Friday saw actress Sana Makbul crowned the victor. Yet, the celebration has been overshadowed by allegations of voting irregularities, particularly from recent contestant Lovekesh Kataria, who has publicly denounced the fairness of his eviction.

Bigg Boss has now traversed through an impressive 20 seasons, with 17 broadcast on television and 3 available via OTT platforms. While the show has enjoyed considerable acclaim and satisfaction from many participants, there remains a cadre of former contestants who have expressed discontent regarding perceived biases and inequities in the voting process.

Noteworthy among these are:

Muskan Jatana (Moose): An influential social media personality and a contestant from the inaugural season of Bigg Boss OTT, Moose was evicted during a live elimination alongside singer Neha Bhasin. In an interview following her departure, Moose expressed her disillusionment, asserting that she had garnered more votes than Bhasin but was ousted due to a controversial in-house voting twist.

Anurag Dhobal: As a highly anticipated participant in Bigg Boss 17, Dhobal's elimination on the 79th day came as a shock to many fans, particularly as it was determined by housemates' votes. The situation was further exacerbated by the omission of Dhobal’s special walk of shame from the broadcast, leading to widespread speculation and dissatisfaction regarding potential bias.

Asim Riaz: The rapper and actor, who finished as the runner-up in Season 13, accused the show's producers of manipulating the voting process to favour Siddharth Shukla. Riaz alleged that the scheduling of the final live voting was strategically planned post Shehnaz Gill's elimination, ostensibly to galvanise her fans to vote for Shukla.

Elvish Yadav: Although Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, did not voice any complaints about the voting process, he drew attention when he claimed to have received an astounding 280 million votes. This revelation was met with scepticism, as viewers questioned the veracity of such a figure.

Lovekesh Kataria: The social media influencer, a participant in the current season, has raised concerns about the fairness of his eviction. Kataria argued that his elimination through housemates' votes, as opposed to audience voting, constituted an unjust advantage that contributed to his removal from the competition.
