Back in July 2023, the creators proudly unveiled plans for their film's grand premiere at the highly anticipated Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Yet, according to the latest reports, the film's title has mysteriously vanished from the festival's scheduled offerings.

The Indian Central Board of Film Certification engaged in a thorough six-month evaluation process, ultimately granting certification but requiring 21 cuts and a title alteration to 'Punjab '95.' Unwilling to accept this outcome, the production banner RSVP took the matter to the Bombay High Court, where the fate of the film's title change currently hangs in the balance.

The film includes an ensemble cast namely Arjun Rampal and Suvinder Pal Vicky, who join Diljit Dosanjh in bringing this powerful narrative to life.
