Golden Globe Awards 2024: Christopher Nolan's biopic film 'Oppenheimer' has emerged victorious at the 81st Golden Globe Awards, held at the prestigious Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

The film, which delves into the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the renowned "Father of the Atomic Bomb," took home several coveted awards, including Best Supporting Actor, Best Director, Best Actor, and finally, the prestigious Best Picture - Drama award.

The announcement was made on the official Golden Globes handle on X stating, "Best Picture - Drama goes to Oppenheimer! #GoldenGlobes."

During the earlier segments of the ceremony, 'Oppenheimer' secured wins in multiple categories, with actor Robert Downey Jr. clinching the Best Supporting Male Actor - Motion Picture, Christopher Nolan bagging the Best Director - Motion Picture, and Cillian Murphy receiving the Best Male Actor - Motion Picture award for his portrayal of Oppenheimer.

While 'Oppenheimer' claimed the throne in the drama category, the Best Picture award in the Musical/Comedy category went to the film 'Poor Things.'
