Once hailed as the reigning queen of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut has transitioned into the realm of politics, reclaiming the title of 'queen' in a new domain. The celebrated actress recently achieved victory in the Lok Sabha elections, securing a seat from the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh on a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket.

This triumph marks Kangana Ranaut's entry into the political arena as a BJP Member of Parliament. In a display of pride and accomplishment, the actress-turned-politician shared a snapshot on her Instagram stories over the weekend, proudly showcasing her MP identity card.

In the photograph, Kangana, draped in an elegant saree, radiates with joy as she exhibits her newly acquired identification. Accompanying the post is Kangana's caption: "New identity card, new identity card." Despite recent controversies, Kangana Ranaut's spirit remains undeterred as she embraces her new role with enthusiasm.

Expressing gratitude towards the residents of Mandi for their unwavering support, Kangana acknowledged their pivotal role in her electoral victory. Notably, she surpassed her closest rival, Congress's Vikramaditya Singh, by an impressive margin of over 74,000 votes in the Lok Sabha elections. Prior to this electoral triumph, Kangana took to Instagram to extend her heartfelt thanks to the constituents, highlighting their trust in Prime Minister Modi, the BJP, and their commitment to tradition and the honor of Mandi.

However, amidst her political ascent, Kangana Ranaut encountered a distressing incident during a visit to Delhi on June 6th. At Chandigarh Airport, she was slapped by a female CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) soldier named Kulvinder Kaur. The altercation stemmed from Kangana's remarks about Punjab women amid the farmers' protest against the agricultural laws. Following Kangana's complaint, the female soldier was suspended, and legal proceedings were initiated against her.

Addressing the incident through a video statement, Kangana reassured her well-wishers of her safety while recounting the altercation at Chandigarh Airport. She described the assault and verbal abuse she endured during a security check, citing her concerns about combating terrorism in Punjab.
