Traveling on Republic Day: India is celebrating its 74th Republic Day tomorrow. It is an occasion for the Indians to cherish its authenticity and success! Every Indian wants to celebrate this day with full zest and enthusiasm. Meanwhile celebrating Republic Day might havean another way for somebodyelse. So here are few Indian destinations where travelling during the D-Day feels next level and different.

India’s capital – Delhi

The capital city hits different during its Republic Day celebration. If you are not from this city, Delhi shall be the foremost option for travelling. The city with the richest history has everything to serve for its tourists. The country’s largest and the most important parade rally is marked on the ‘Rajpath’, New Delhi. The immaculate parade marches from the Rashtrapati Bhawan to India Gate and from there to Red Fort. The feature significance of the states and various regiments including Indian Navy, Army and Air-Force is worth watching.

The Wagah border and Jallianwala Bagh are some other spots in the city of Golden Temple where republic day feels like an emotion more than an occasion. The Wagah Border situated 30 minutes away from the city serves the magnificent view on the day. Jallianwala Bagh is another spectacular location to feel more Indian. This spot still haunts the killing of numerous innocent Indians who were killed in an open fire led to mass killing.Hussainiwala border is yet another gem for witnessing the revolutionary spirit of the national martyrs namely S Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.

The first British captured city in the far east India is another significant place to have a chilled republic day weekend. The Bengal city is filled with British architecture in every nook and corner, feeds an extreme vibe of the past to the travelers.
