Tom Cruise to shoot in space: Hollywood Tom Cruise, an actor who is known for executing spectacular stunts for his movies, is now taking a step further. The actor may soon become the first actor to shoot in space. Yes, if reports are to be believed, then Tom Cruise will be the first actor to film in space.
As per reports, it is stated that the ‘Top Gun’ actor and director Doug Liman are working together on a project that will require him to undertake a spacewalk. Tom's ascent to the International Space Station has apparently been proposed by the Hollywood actor and filmmaker to the Universal Filmed Entertainment Group (UFEG).

Prior to the Covid-19 outbreak, the project was scheduled to be completed in 2020. The film is still in the initial stage and hasn't yet begun production. If the movie is as successful as it is expected to be, Tom Cruise will become the first movie star to film on the International Space Station.
According to reports, Cruise will portray a down-and-out character who runs into an odd circumstance where he can save Earth. In order to assure efficient operation, the team is also interacting with Elon Musk's SpaceX and NASA. Also, this would be the first Hollywood venture to shoot a feature film in space.
Meanwhile, Tom Cruise and director Liman have previously worked together on the movies 'Edge of Tomorrow’ which was released in 2014, and ‘American Made’, released in 2017.
