During the event, he revealed that the script for the film is complete, and they are currently in the pre-production phase. While addressing the audience, Rajamouli expressed his enthusiasm, mentioning that although the casting process is underway, Mahesh Babu is confirmed as the leading actor. He praised Babu's talent and charm, promising a memorable cinematic experience.

Despite his usual fee ranging between Rs 60 to Rs 80 crore per film, Babu has purportedly opted for a profit-sharing deal instead of a fixed remuneration. This decision, along with Rajamouli's involvement, hints at a shared commitment towards delivering a successful film, possibly resulting in a more lucrative outcome for both parties.

Furthermore, the involvement of writer Vijayendra Prasad adds to the anticipation surrounding SSMB29. In a recent interview, Prasad hinted at the possibility of Hollywood actors joining the cast for an action-packed adventure set in Africa, adding another layer of excitement to the project.
