The excitement is evident as fans are adorning local theaters with posters and garlands in anticipation of the release.


In the midst of this 'Jailer' frenzy, an office with branches in Bengaluru and Chennai has taken a unique step. They have declared a holiday on the day of the movie's release and even given out free tickets to their employees. This extraordinary move has caught attention and is spreading widely.

The reason behind this special holiday was explained as an attempt to prevent an influx of leave requests to the HR department due to the much-anticipated release of Rajinikanth's movie. The company even went the extra mile by showing support against piracy and offering free tickets to its employees for 'Jailer'.

'Jailer', produced by Sun Pictures under media magnate Kalanithi Maran's banner, features Rajinikanth in the role of a retired police officer. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film boasts an ensemble cast including prominent names of South Indian cinema like Jackie Shroff, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan.

In an earlier teaser released on August 3, Rajinikanth's character 'Tiger' Muthuvel Pandian was unveiled, showcasing two distinct personas. The superstar will portray a police officer's father in the movie's plot. The teaser also depicted the ordinary man transforming into a formidable opponent using both swords and firearms.

'Jailer' is a full-fledged action-packed entertainer crafted by director Nelson Dilipkumar. The film centers around Rajinikanth's character and is supported by actors like Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, and Vinayakan. Mohanlal, in a cameo role, embraced a retro look for his character. Similarly, Shiva Rajkumar will also make a guest appearance. The movie is set to hit theaters on August 10.
