While the couple has kept their wedding plans under wraps, recent reports suggest that they have shortlisted two potential dates for their big day. According to multiple reports, the couple is considering either the end of this year or March 2025 for their nuptials.

Further speculation suggests that the Akkineni family is planning an elaborate one-week destination wedding, with Paris emerging as a potential location. Sources indicate that Nagarjuna, Chaitanya’s father, will make an official announcement regarding the wedding date once the venue is finalized. Nagarjuna has expressed his excitement about welcoming Sobhita into the family, but he clarified that the wedding won’t take place immediately. He explained that the engagement was organized quickly due to the auspicious nature of the date, and since both Chaitanya and Sobhita were certain of their commitment, the families decided to move forward without delay.
The engagement ceremony, held on August 8 in Hyderabad, was an intimate affair attended by close family members. Among the attendees were Naga Chaitanya’s brother, Akhil Akkineni, his mother Lakshmi Daggubati (Nagarjuna’s ex-wife), and his stepmother Amala Akkineni.
On the professional front, Naga Chaitanya is currently busy with his upcoming film, tentatively titled Thandel, in which he stars opposite actress Sai Pallavi. Although the release date has not been announced, there are rumours that the filmmakers are eyeing a Christmas release.
