Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, 'Leo' also features stars like Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Krishnan, and Arjun Sarja. This film marks the reunion of Vijay and Kanagaraj after their 2021 blockbuster 'Master.' Even superstar Rajinikanth expressed his hopes for the film's success, saying, "I pray to God that the movie should become a huge hit."

To make the release a grand event, Seven Screen Studios Production had filed a petition with the Madras High Court, seeking permission to screen the film as early as 4 a.m. in cinemas across Tamil Nadu on its release day. However, the court did not make a decision on this request.
