The unfortunate incident occurred while he was riding his motorcycle along the Mysuru-Gundluper highway near Bengaluru. Known by his stage name Dhruwan, Suraj was immediately rushed to a private hospital, where doctors were forced to amputate his right leg below the knee in order to save his life.
It was reported that Suraj lost control of his bike while attempting to overtake a tractor, causing a collision with a tipper lorry at around 4 pm on Saturday. As a result of the severity of his injuries, doctors had to amputate his right leg below the knee in order to save his life.
Suraj Kumar, the nephew of Dr. Rajkumar's wife, Paravathamma, and the son of film producer S. A. Srinivas had been eagerly awaiting his entry into the film industry.
