Popular comedian Sugandha Mishra got married recently and just after 9 days of her D-day she was booked for flouting Covid-19 rules.

Sugandha tied knot with Sanket Bhosale at a resort in Punjab’s Phagwara on April 26, 2021. Several videos and pictures went viral on the internet ever since the couple tied the knot.
A case has been registered against the comedian, the bridegroom’s side, the resort owner and other participants of the marriage after a video of large gathering at the wedding went viral on the internet. Currently, India is facing a severe situation due to Covid-19 rise. As announced by the government, not more than 10 people are allowed to gather in a public event.

As, the comedian and the other participants of the ceremony were violating the rules of Covid-19 regulation, a case has been registered under Section 188 of Indian Penal Code relating to the disobedience to order duly circulated by public servant and ‘Disaster Management Act’, Singh said.

DSP told a national daily, that no arrest has been done yet, and the investigation is still going on.
Sugandha Mishra is from Jalandhar whereas, Sanket Bhosale hails from Maharashtra. Both of them got their big break with The Kapil Sharma Show, however they no longer are a part of the show.
