Sidhu Moose Wala's song 'SYL' will definitely leave major impact, urges Punjabis to save Punjab's water

Sidhu Moose Wala song 'SYL' releases: Sidhu Moose Wala's much awaited song 'SYL' is out now under his YouTube channel. The Punjabi singer was shot dead on May 29 in Mansa and the news of the same left everyone in shock. After Sidhu's death, it was announced that all his finished as well as unfinished work should be handed over to his father Balkaur Singh.

On June 22, late evening, Sidhu Moose Wala's song SYL's release date was announced and finally the song is out now under Sidhu's official YouTube channel.

Sidhu Moose Wala's song SYL revolves around the Satluj Yamana Lonk canal issue. Apart from crooning the song, the lyrics are also penned by Sidhu whereas, the artwork and video were created by Navkaran Brar, and it was produced by MXRCI.

About SYL canal issue

The Satluj-Yamuna-Link Canal, also known as SYL, is a 214 km long canal that is currently under construction and was designed to allow Punjab and the state of Haryana to share water resources. In 1982, a proposal for the Satluj-Yamuna-Link Canal was made. Through this pipeline, water from Punjab would be delivered to neighbouring states like Haryana.

Sidhu Moose Wala's unfortunate death

For the unversed, Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in broad daylight while he was travelling in his Thar the day after the state government withdrew Moose Wala's security.  He was shot and killed in Jawahar Ke village in Punjab's Mansa on May 29.
