Sidhu Moose Wala Murder Case: Shooters 'received arms, ammunition from Pakistan'

Sidhu Moose Wala Murder Case: In yet another development in Sidhu Moose Wala's killing, a report stated that the weapons used in the murder were supplied to shooters from Pakistan.

After Canada, the strings of Sidhu Moose Wala's murder are now being linked to Pakistan. Recently, the Delhi Police Special Cell arrested three people, including two shooters, from Kutch, Gujarat.

The arrested accused have been identified as Priyavrat alias Fauji (26), a resident of Sonipat in Haryana, Kashish alias Kuldeep (24) of Jhajjar district, and Keshav Kumar (29), a resident of Bathinda in Punjab.

As per the news agency IANS, the sources said that Priyavrat, during the preliminary interrogation, revealed that he got the consignment of weapons from Pakistan. Meanwhile, it has also come to the fore that drones were used to drop the weapons.

While the three accused were arrested, eight grenades, 9 electric detonators, 3 pistols, and one assault rifle were recovered from them.

Reportedly, the shooters had also purchased the uniforms of the Punjab Police during the incident. However, they were not able to use them due to the lack of nameplates.

Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in Jawaharke village in Mansa district of Punjab on May 29. He was travelling in his car with two of his friends when assailants came and opened fire on him.   Sidhu Moose Wala had suffered as many as 24 bullet injuries.
