Sidhu Moose Wala, a Congress leader and Punjabi musician, was shot by unknown gunmen in Mansa district, according to reports. The firing incident resulted in the injuries of three people, including Sidhu.
Following the event, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa urged that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann be charged with "neglect of chief ministerial duties."
"We have been advising the Punjab government to pay attention to the situation in Punjab. I urge a FIR be filed against Bhagwant Mann for failing to do his obligations as Chief Minister, which resulted in the death of Sidhu Moosewala. Manjinder Singh Sirsa believes Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal should be arrested.
