Samantha Ruth Prabhu news: Pan-India star Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently gearing up for the release of her suspense thriller 'Yashoda'. The makers recently unveiled the film's intriguing trailer which has gripped movie buffs with its unique storyline. In the meantime, Samantha on Saturday made a major revelation about her health.
The 'Family Man' actress said that she has been identified with an autoimmune disease called Myositis. The actress shared details about her health on Instagram and expressed gratitude to her followers for their overwhelmingly positive reactions to the trailer for her upcoming film, 'Yashoda.'
For the unversed, "myositis" refers to a collection of uncommon diseases that can make muscles weak, worn out, and uncomfortable. It is typically brought on by an immune system malfunction when healthy tissue is unintentionally attacked.

Informing everyone about her health condition, Samantha shared a brief note that reads, "A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don’t always need to put up a strong front."
The actress claimed that she has accepted the vulnerability and is still struggling with it, however, she is confident that she will recover soon. The actress concluded on a positive note and stated, "THIS TOO SHALL PASS"
On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will soon collaborate for the film 'Arrangements Of Love' with Downton Abbey's director Philip John.
She will be seen playing a role of a bisexual who owns her own detective agency.
