Sam Bahadur: Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Shaikh leave for Jaipur for film's shoot

Sam Bahadur: Bollywood actors Vicky Kaushal, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, who are all set for their upcoming movie 'Sam Bahadur', left for Jaipur on September 14 as they begin shooting for the film.

Fatima Sana Shaikh, who is an avid social media user, took to her Instagram account and shared a selfie with the co-actors Vicky Kaushal and Zeeshan Ayyub as they jet off for the 'Pink City'.

While sharing the picture, Fatima wrote "Ache Bache." To note, Fatima will be seen playing the role of former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi while Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the role of Field Marshall Sam Maneshaw.

The film "Sam Bahadur" is based on the life of the renowned Field Marshal and Chief of the Army Staff Sam Manekshaw. The film also features Sanya Malhotra who will play the role of Siloo Manekshaw, Sam Manekshaw's wife.

The film is helmed by Meghna Gulzar while Ronnie Screwvala is backing the project under RSVP movies.

Sam Manekshaw served in the military for four decades and five conflicts. He was the first Indian Army general to be given the rank of Field Marshal. In fact, Bangladesh was founded as a result of its military triumph in the 1971 Indo-Pak War.

Earlier, the makers of the film released a special video as they started the pre-production phase.

Vicky and his co-stars Sanya and Fatima were all recently seen in a special video a few weeks ago.
