Akshay Kumar rejects his Canadian passportThe actor has opened up saying that without knowing the exact reason he was judged for taking up Canadian citizenship. In an interview, the actor revealed that India is everything to him and he had earned success and fame in this country. Then, he added saying that he felt hurt when people misunderstood him without knowing anything about him.
However, in the 1990s after facing a major downfall in his career forced to apply for Canadian citizenship. Further, he said that he thought that his films were not working at the box office so he believed that he should have a backdrop plan to save himself.
Furthermore, the Good Newwz actor added saying that he had only two films left for release and it was his fortune that both the films were super duper hit at the box office. Then, he never looked back and from then on all his films were bang on.
In addition to this, he forget that he had the passport and now he had applied for a change in the passport and decided to renounce his Canadian passport.
