‘Proud to be your son', says Bobby Deol as he pens special note on Dharmendra's 87th birthday

Dharmendra's 87th birthday: Veteran actor Dharmendra is a gem the Bollywood industry is blessed with. On December 8, the actor celebrated his 87th birthday and wishes from around the world poured in for the veteran actor. In the meantime, Dharmendra's son Bobby Deol penned a special note and said, "Proud to be your son".

Dharmendra needs no introduction as the actor celebrates a massive fanbase for his remarkable journey in the Bollywood industry. On the occasion of his 87th birthday, Bobby Deol took to his social media accounts and shared a beautiful picture that also featured his nephew Karan Deol.

In the picture, Dharmendra was seen posing with a wide smile for the picture. In front of the three, there was a fire burning which depicts that the picture was taken while they were organizing a special 'puja'.

In a career spanning more than six decades, the Padma Bhushan laureate appeared in more than 300 movies. In addition to being one of the top actors in the business, he serves as an example for many aspiring creatives. His private life is likewise nothing short of a romantic film. Dharmendra, who is married to Hema Malini, has starred alongside her in a number of movies.

On the work front, Dharmendra will be seen next in Karan Johar's directorial 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' which also stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
