Maidaan OTT: Ajay Devgn-starrer 'Maidaan', based on the life of the legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim is now streaming online on Amazon Prime Video.

After it runs in theatres, the Ajay Devgn-starrer 'Maidaan' is now available for online. The film is based on the life of the legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim.


The movie explores the life of Syed Abdul Rahim, fondly called Rahim Saab, who is hailed as the driving force behind the rise of modern Indian football. Rahim's legacy as an outstanding sportsman and exceptional coach marked the "golden age" of Indian football during his tenure. His innovative techniques and strategies led the national team to remarkable success, including winning gold medals at the Asian Games, reaching the semi-finals of the Summer Olympics (a historic achievement for an Asian country), and securing titles like the Colombo Cup.

Maidaan starring Ajay Devgn is now available on Amazon Prime Video.

Director Amit Sharma, who brought Syed Abdul Rahim's story to the screen, also shared his thoughts on the project. The film also features Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh in important roles and is produced by Boney Kapoor.
