Filmmaker Hansal Mehta praises 'Jaane Jaan' actress Kareena Kapoor Khan for her performance in 'Buckingham Murders'
While, director Hansal Mehta was asked his experience working with Bebo for the first time, he expressed his gratitude and was seen praising her acting skills.
Kareena Kapoor Khan is undoubtedly one of the finest actresses of Bollywood industry who has contributed some of the best ensembles and characters to the cinema goers. From Hindi cult rom-coms to emo drama, she has left no chunks in her caliber. As the actress is currently gearing up for her upcoming Netflix thriller drama 'Jaane Jaan' she has also another big project in her pipelines, helmed under ace director Hansal Mehta. I am talking about 'Buckingham Murders'.
Slatted to release on 21 September, 2023, 'Jaane Jaan' is Bebo's first OTT debut which will also feature actor like Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat.

During a recent interview, Mrs. Khan revealed that her upcoming movie, 'Buckingham Murders' will be premiered at the BFI London Film Festival in the coming October 2023. While, director Hansal Mehta was asked his experience working with Bebo for the first time, he expressed his gratitude and was seen praising her acting skills. During an interview with a renown media, he said, "I worked with her like any other actor like all the wonderful actors I've worked with in my life, Kareena worked exactly that way. There was nothing that was screaming at me except when she would be mobbed by people but she worked so passionately so diligently. Apni character ko lekar BFI London Film Festival released the program among the only three Indian films that have been selected, this is one of them and in the festival website says 'career-best performance by Kareena Kapoor Khan' and it makes me feel very good."
The filmmaker continued praising Kareena and said, "She has actually gone out of her comfort zone, out of her image to play this character who is dealing with grief. Itna achha kaam kiya hai and I just hope people recognize her for the actor she is."
The 'Buckingham Murders'
Meanwhile, Directed by Hansal Mehta, 'Buckingham Murders' is jointly written by Aseem Arora, Raghav Raj Kakker, and Kashyap Kapoor. The actress took over her official Instagram handle a week ago to share the good news of BFI inclusion in London and wrote, "The Buckingham Murders’ a journey that @hansalmehta, @ektarkapoor and I took is premiering at the 67th BFI London Film Festival. It is an atmospheric thriller, that explores themes of loss, closure and the immigrant experience. What makes this moment even more special is that it’s one of the three films from India that made it to the festival! If you happen to be in the UK, we hope you can watch it, it's being shown at the Curzon Mayfair on the 14th and the Vue Leicester Square on the 15th October."
