Actor Pratik Gandhi, famous for his role in 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story', is now showing his support for the new series 'Scam 2003'. The sequel to 'Scam 1992' had its screening in Mumbai recently, and Pratik Gandhi couldn't contain his excitement.
In an interview, Pratik shared his thoughts on the upcoming series, saying, "We were all waiting for this day, and everyone is happy about it. 'Scam 2003' is taking the franchise forward. As we saw in the trailer, this series will reveal details about a huge scam. We are eager to hear what the audience thinks about it. I wish the entire cast and crew the best of luck with this project."
'Scam 2003' tells the story of Abdul Karim Telgi, the man suspected of being behind a massive Rs 30,000 crore stamp paper scam. The series is based on the Hindi book 'Reporter ki Diary,' written by journalist Sanjay Singh, who initially uncovered the scam.
Hansal Mehta, who was the showrunner for 'Scam 1992', continues his involvement in the franchise, while the second installment is directed by Tushar Hiranandani.
Hansal Mehta also expressed his excitement ahead of the series release, saying, "I am very excited as people are loving our show. The work on 'Scam 2003' started before the release of Scam 1992. We were extremely motivated after the success of 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story.'"
