Oscars 2023 'Last Film Show' nominated in 'Best International Feature Film category'

Film shortlisted for Oscars news: The Indian Gujrati film 'Chhello Show' which is also known as 'Last Film Show' in English has been nominated for the Best International Film Oscar.

The foreign film category has shortlisted 15 movies as of now from countries like Denmark, France, Austria, Poland, Cambodia, South Korea, Belgium and Argentina. Talking about the short film 'Chhello Show' is directed by Pan Nalin where the short film stars Bhavin Rabari, Bhavesh Shrimali, Richa Meena and many more. This short film shows that the child actor Rahul Koli died of cancer.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced 10 categories which have been shortlisted for the 95th Oscars which included documentary feature, international film, makeup and hairstyling, original song, sound, visual, effects and shorts. Although, nominations for all the categories will be announced on January 24. For the unversed, the 95th Oscars will be held on March 12,2023.

Recently, the Last Film Show director said that the film has officially entered the Oscars. He mentioned that he was speechless as he was not expecting the film to get shortlisted for Oscars as there were many other hit films in the queue.

In addition to this, the director explained that his only wish was to make sure that maximum number of people watch the movie. As soon as the film gained success and popularity Internationally everything changed for them.
