Kriti Sanon shared the trailer for her forthcoming film, Mimi, in which she portrays a surrogate mother, on Twitter. Her Luka Chuppi director Laxman Utekar and co-star Pankaj Tripathi both reunited for the film.

She agrees after learning that she will not be involved in the conception of the child and will be compensated for carrying it for a total of 20 lakh.
Mimi is worried about how she'll explain her pregnancy to her parents, but Sai Tamhankar's character assures her that she may stay with her. Kriti's character is introduced as "Chand" by Sai's character, while Pankaj's character is introduced as her spouse 'Naseeruddin' by Pankaj's character, resulting in a lot of hilarity.
