James Cameron announces Avatar's re-release in theaters in remastered 4K 3D HDR

Avatar to re-release in Indian theaters: James Cameron has announced the return of the magnificent film ‘Avatar’ in theaters on September 23. The film was released in 2009 and now the makers are coming with the second installment of the film titled ‘Avatar: The Way of Water', which is scheduled to be released on December 16. However, ahead of its release, the makers are going to re-release ‘Avatar’ in theaters with a spectacular 4K HDR.

The much-anticipated sequel, featuring Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana as Jake Sully and Na'vi Neytiri, will be released on December 16 as a follow-up to the re-release. The two main protagonists, their families, and the lengths, to which they choose to go in order to preserve their world's safety will serve as the center of the story. Along with the two leading actors, the ensemble cast also stars Kate Winslet, Vin Diesel, Sigourney Weaver, and others.

Prior to the movie's return to theatres in 4K High Dynamic Range, a trailer and a poster have been released. The writer-directed sharing the trailer captioned, "Before our next chapter begins, experience Avatar in remastered 4K 3D HDR in theaters September 23rd for a limited time."

Earlier in May this year, the makers unveiled the first teaser of the film 'Avatar: The Way of Water' which left everyone amazed with its eye-gazing visuals.

The story centers on Worthington and Saldana as 'Jake Sully' and 'Navi Neytiri', respectively. It is surely an extended story that returns to the theaters with extreme hype already created among the movie buffs.

Apart from the two leads, the movie also introduces Vin Diesel and Kate Winslet as the new entrants in ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’.
