Alia Bhatt clears air for misogynistic coverage: Alia Bhatt made everyone's day with the announcement of her pregnancy on June 27. Ever since the announcement Alia and Ranbir are being poured with love and congratulatory messages. However, some rumors of Alia Bhatt's project getting delayed are also surfacing on the internet.

The actress clearing the air have taken to her Instagram account and expressed her disappointment for misogynistic coverage by some media organizations.

Alia Bhatt's social media post read as, "Meanwhile we still live in some peoples heads we still live in some patriarchal world .. fyi. Nothing has gotten delayed!!!! No one needs to PICK anyone up. I am a woman not a parcel!!! I do not need to REST at all but good to know you'll have a doctors certification as well. This is 2022. Can we pls get out of this archake way of thinking! Now if you would excuse me … my shot is ready "

Alia mistakenly spelled 'archaic' as 'archake' and soon after her post she re-corrected herself and wrote, "I'm lovely but I'm also terrible with my spelling"

Earlier, Alia Bhatt thanked all her well wishers for congratulating on their pregnancy news. She wrote, "Overwhelmed with all the love! Have tried to read everyone’s messages and good wishes and all want to say is, it truly feels so special to celebrate such a big moment in our lives with all your love and blessings! Thank you to every single one of you"

While making an announcement, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram and shared a cute picture with Ranbir Kapoor. The picture was captioned, “Our baby… coming soon”.
