Honey Singh credits Diljit Dosanjh: A video of singer and rapper Honey Singh, who is also known by the stage name of Yo Yo Honey Singh, is going viral on the internet in which he revealed that the actual credit for his blockbuster song 'Brown Rang' goes to Diljit Dosanjh.
Yes! you read it right! 'Brown Rang' by Honey Singh is still one of the fan's favourite songs. The singer said that the song was rejected by Diljit Dosanjh, which he later sang and released.

In the video, Honey Singh said that he wrote the song 'Brown Rang' in 2010 but nobody was ready to sing the song and thus, he had to sing it himself.
On being asked about taking the song first to Ashok Masti, Honey Singh replied that he wrote the song for Diljit Dosanjh besides creating the beats of the song as well.

He further said that he had asked Diljit Dosanjh to sing the song, but he refused and said that the song was too futuristic for him and that it includes too many English words.

While disclosing this, Honey Singh thanked Diljit Dosanjh for not doing the song which turned out a game changer for him in 2011.
Although the song was also offered to Singer Jassi Sidhu as well, the song required a moderate pitch while Jassi Sidhu was known for his high pitch.

Likewise, Honey Singh thanked both Diljit Dosanjh and Jassi Sidhu for not doing the song 'Brown Rang' which made him create a name in the pop-music world.
