One of the most awaited award night of the pop music industry has made it's comeback yesterday night. We are talking about MTV's Video Music Awards 2023, commonly called as the infamous VMA's. The auspicious award ceremony took place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on September 12, 2023. From Shakira to Cardi B which, the glamorous night saw the attendance of the biggest names from the music industry. All dressed up in their bestest ensembles, it was a true scene to behold!

Speaking about it's winners, the Era's Tour lead Taylor Swift has led the pack this time by winning 9 accolades for her self-directed song 'Anti-Hero'. With such an astonishing number of winning on a single night, she is now the second singer to hold the most number of VMA's after Renaissance star Beyonce. Apart from Taylor Swift, other singers who shone with the highest nominations included Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj and Blackpink. This year was way more interesting that it thought would be since it is the first ever in the VMA's history that women and nonbinary made it to the entire slate of nominees for Video of the Year and Artist of the Year for the first time. On the other hand, first-time nominees of the Awards included 'Best New Artist' winner Ice Spice along-side Boygenius, GloRilla, Flo Milli, and more.
The award night was also marked with some mesmerizing performances by the sensations such as Nicki Minaj, Beyonce and Olivia Rodrigo along with many other artists that ruled the Prudential Stage.
