Oscar Nominations 2024; From studio Ghibli's The Boy and the Heron, here is Japan's major Nomination list
Oscars 2024 is currently making headlines with it's recently announced nominations and the global film goers are not sheerly surprised with the movies that were added in the list of some of the biggest nominations of the upcoming Academy Awards. Beacuse the starry lists is nothing but all well deservers. Among the biggest production sites of the world, Japan has proudly owned it's spectecular spotlight not just with one but two big nominations.
The year 2023 saw some of the biggest animated movies coming from all over the world, from America to the land of animes, Japan. Speaking of Japan, the country marked it's proud spots with the year's two biggest creations for the upcoming Academy Awards. Legendary Studio Ghibli's 'The Boy and the Heron' wins a major spot, as it has been clenched under the category of Best Animated Feature Film of the year. Creator Takashi Yamazaki on the other hand also curved his starry space with his film 'Godzilla Minus One' under the respective category of Best VFX.
Speaking off their individual competition, 'The Boy and the Heron' created by Ghibli Studio, is to face unwavering fight with the other animation masterpieces like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Robot Dreams, Nemona and Elemental. Meanwhile Godzilla Minus One, a whopping movie made with just 35 artists and $10 million budget, Takashi Yamazaki will be facing similar stiff competion as it stands hand in hand with fiery creations like Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, The Creator, Guardians of Galaxy Vol. 3 and Napolean respectively.
Meanwhile, Oscars 2023 is crocheting a huge buzz with it's recently announced nominations. Marking it's 96th anniversary, the prestigious Academy Awards 2024 is going to take place on 10 March, 2024 at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California. Until then, the Oscar enthusiasts will be eagerly waiting for the grand extravaganza to commence while revealing it's biggest winners.
