Hollywood Strike 2023; Emmys 2023 likely to be postponed as writers, actors strikes continue

The Hollywood rampage is surely delaying numerous television shows and postponed many major films and now it has led it's impacts onto Emmy Awards 2023.

The American film industry is under dwindling impact ever since the infamous Hollywood strike has been hitting hard the industry from May, 2023. As the strike is now on full pace in the West, the impact has started showing it's temperament on big events such Emmy Awards. Yes, you heard it correct! With it's dwindling effect, the television industry has decided to push back the original dates of the Emmy Awards 2023 which was slatted to held in September 18, 2023.

75th Emmy Awards!

As per the report by Variety, the Fox and the television industry is under constant turmoil of debates regarding a new date for the year's significant award as the Emmy's was supposedly going to hit it's 75th year in the industry. The new date for the event is expected to be announced by the end of this month or during August. Meanwhile, the nominations for the Emmy Awards 2023 has been already announced by the board council, hence a new fixated date is an utter important decision to be taken soon. According to the sources, with the ongoing strike in Hollywood, the new date for the coveted award is to be expected to in November which might also postponed to January 2024.

Meanwhile, the Writers Guild of America, WGA is on constant strike ever since may 1, 2023 for a better demand in pay and posing threat by the interference of artificial intelligence ended with zero deal. According to the writer's demand, they must be paid well enough in correspondence to a show's success. later in July 14, 2023 the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) joined hands with the writers too. The Sag which represents 160,000 actors including some A-listed artists has announced the walkout after failing to reach the demanded agreement with the Alliance of Motion Pictures and television producers which includes studios like Walt Disney and even Netflix Inc. The strike has shut down famous late night shows like 'The Tonight Show', and halted over numerous projects imperiling the traditional release of the new television shows coming in September.

The never seen moment has occurred after six long decades i.e. after 1960. With the closure of numerous production houses, the Hollywood rampage is surely delaying numerous television shows and postponed many major films and now it has led it's impacts onto Emmy Awards 2023. At such a peak moment of the industry's summer blockbuster season, it would one of the biggest hindrances the world has ever seen.
