Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom trailer out; Jason Mamoa returns back as king of Atlantis to save his kingdom

'Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom' will bring back Jason Mamoa in the titular character of a half human and a half Atlantian who has the superpower beyond aquatic lifestyle, insane speed and summoning unlikely sea creatures.

One of the most superhit blockbuster of 2018, 'Aquaman' is all set to return back among the fanatics. The trailer of it's sequel was released recently by DC and ever since, it has ushered an insane amount of craze among the Aquaman goers. In the upcoming movie, actor Jason Mamoa will return back as the king of Atlantis which as followed by the released trailer will be full of crazy action and fight scenes with his ultimate foe Black Manta, set to avenge Aquaman for his father's death.


'Aquaman 2' Plot

As per the official synopsis, the makers wrote, "Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to take Aquaman down once and for all. This time Black Manta is more formidable than ever before, wielding the power of the mythic Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former King of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must set aside their differences in order to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family, and the world, from irreversible destruction."


About 'Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom'

Meanwhile, Aquaman is an American superhero film based on the famous DC character under the same name. It's first installment was released in 2018 which shown an astonishing results both critically and commercially all over the world. Speaking about it's upcoming sequel, directed by James Wan, it's production helmed by DC Studios, Atomic Monster, and the Safran Company, the movie will bring back Jason Mamoa in the titular character of a half human and a half Atlantian who has the superpower beyond aquatic lifestyle, insane speed and summoning unlikely sea creatures. Apart from Jason, the movie will also feature Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul Mateen II, Temuera Morrison, Randall Park and Dolph Lundgren. Meanwhile the magnum opus is slated to release in December 20, 2023.
