Diljit Dosanjh's Arjun Patiala Will Not Release In Pakistan

In the wake of the Pulwama terror attack, Diljit Dosanjh's "Arjun Patiala" will not release in Pakistan. Besides, Kartik Aaryan's "Luka Chuppi" will also not hit the screens in the neighbouring country.

According to news agency IANS, producer Dinesh Vijan issued a statement to announce that he has cancelled a contract with the Pakistan distributor of the films, and that his banner Maddock Films will not be releasing "Luka Chuppi", "Arjun Patiala" and "Made in China" in the territory.

The news comes a day after the makers of "Total Dhamaal" said they would not release the comedy entertainer in Pakistan.

In “Arjun Patiala”, Diljit will again be seen playing a role of a police officer. He has earlier stunned movie lovers with his unforgettable role in Police Uniform in Punjabi Superhit movie series “Jatt & Juliet” and Bollywood Flick “Udta Punjab”.

Directed by Rohit Jugraj, “Arjun Patiala” is a comic franchise. The film stars Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Sharma and Kriti Sanon in important roles.

“Arjun Patiala” is slated to release on May 3.
