"Bad Newz" appears to be a spiritual successor to the 2019 hit "Good Newwz," which starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh. The film is co-produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Amritpal Singh Bindra, with the script penned by Ishita Moitra and Tarun Dudeja. "Bad Newz" is set to hit theaters on July 19.
