Fans might recall that Shraddha made a cameo in the song "Thumkeshwari" from Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon's Bhediya, released in 2022. The crossover continues to build excitement around Stree 2, which has been eagerly awaited by audiences.
Recently, the makers of the horror-comedy Stree 2 unveiled a new song titled "Tumhare Hi Rahenge Hum," featuring RajKummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor. The lyrics, penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, are brought to life by singers Varun Jain, Shilpa Rao, and the music duo Sachin-Jigar. Maddock Films, the production house behind the film, shared the song on Instagram, showcasing the chemistry between Shraddha and RajKummar's characters as Vicky expresses his feelings for Shraddha.

About Stree 2Stree 2 will see Shraddha and RajKummar reprising their roles alongside Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee. The film promises a return to the spooky yet hilarious world where the legendary Stree continues to haunt the men of Chanderi. The recently released trailer teases a new threat called "Sarkata," as Pankaj Tripathi's character introduces the ominous danger. Vicky, played by RajKummar Rao, steps up to transform into the prince of Chanderi, aiming to protect the village women from this new menace.
Adding to the star-studded cast, Tamannaah Bhatia is set to make a cameo with a dance number in the film. The song, "Aaj Ki Raat," is sung by Madhubanti Bagchi and composed by Sachin-Jigar, with choreography by Vijay Ganguly. Tamannaah's performance, dressed in a stunning green outfit, is expected to captivate the audience with her electrifying dance moves.
Originally released in 2018, Stree was a box office hit, with its catchphrase "Oo Stree Kal Aana" becoming a viral sensation. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the sequel, Stree 2, is set to hit theaters on August 15, 2024.
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan has a busy lineup ahead. He will star in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, written and directed by Shashank Khaitan, alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi.
Varun will also appear in the upcoming action thriller Baby John, directed by A Kaleeswaran, with Atlee presenting the film in association with Jio Studios and Cine1 Studios.
