Saira Banu took to Instagram to share some precious memories from her time with actor Vinod Khanna in the film industry. In her touching post, she recalled a memorable incident from the past when Vinod Khanna mysteriously disappeared during a film rehearsal, and how he had a heart full of kindness and chivalry for his co-stars.


Saira Banu shared a delightful anecdote about Vinod Khanna's mysterious vanishing act during a film rehearsal. She revealed that they were shooting for Guru Dutt's film "Aarop" at Natraj Studios when Dilip Kumar paid a visit. She asked Dilip Kumar to stop by the studio before his flight to Delhi. However, as Dilip Kumar entered the studio, Vinod Khanna mysteriously disappeared.

The situation got a bit chaotic as they needed Vinod Khanna for the scene rehearsal. Director Atmaramji sent assistants to search for him so they could proceed with the shot. It was an intriguing moment, and Vinod's sudden disappearance added a touch of mystery to the day.

Saira Banu also shared a significant aspect of Vinod Khanna's life. She revealed that at the peak of his career, Vinod decided to become a disciple of Osho. This decision surprised and saddened many in the film industry. From 1975 onwards, Vinod took a break from films to follow his spiritual guru, Osho. His choice to embark on a spiritual journey left the entire industry crestfallen.


Saira Banu spoke highly of Vinod Khanna's thoughtfulness and kindness. She mentioned how he always ensured the comfort of the ladies on the film sets. Saira recalled a time when she sent her car home for important work, and director Atmaramji finished shooting earlier than expected. Without hesitation, Vinod offered his perky little Volkswagen to drive her home safely. Saira hesitated, thinking her luggage wouldn't fit, but Vinod insisted and offered to wait until her car arrived, displaying his chivalrous nature.
