On this birthday Shweta became emotional while talking about her life-altering accident, Shweta said "On this special birthday, I want to share that I went through a really tough time. There was a risky accident that left me in a bad state mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially. I lost everything I had and even my projects and work suffered. I had to stay in bed for two years, and then another year and a half. But today, I'm here to celebrate because I've come a long way from that difficult period. Recovery and Rehab were painful and difficult but it gave me pain forever. I sleep in pain and get up in pain. The smile you all see every day is just a cover-up.”

Sharing her comeback in Bombay, Shweta said "I remember returning to Bombay with a negative bank balance. I've lived a lifetime in my youth, gaining invaluable experiences with that horrible accident. From the depths, I've risen as a person of remarkable strength. But I don't seek pity for what happened because I wear my journey proudly, for it takes an extraordinary spirit to rise gracefully from the ashes.  The only thing that hurts me is that  99% of people will desert you in your darkest hours.”

While talking about her birthday ritual, Shweta said "On my birthday, I dance with loved ones, and in the grace of tradition, I find solace at the Gurudwara's door."
