Rashmika was born in a Kodava family on April 5, 1996 at Virajpet, a town in Kodagu district of Karnataka. The young future-to-be actress has completed her schooling from Coorg Public School in Kodagu and opted Bangalore's M.S Ramiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce for persuing bachelors programme in Psychology, Journalism and English literature.
Filmy career
Initially, the actress made her acting debut in the movie industry from Kannada's 'Kirik Party' which turned out to be blockbuster hit of 2016. In 2018, she was starred in 'Geetha Govindam' alongside South's fame Vijay Deverakonda.
