Rani Mukerji is gearing up for her first ever masterclass at International Film Festival of India 2023; Details inside

Rani Mukerji will join the International Film festival of India 2023 for a masterclass and take her fanhood through the course of skills and works she has learned over the years within the industry. Interestingly, it will be Rani's first ever attendance for the masterclass.

Renown Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji is known for her versatility in cinema and often counted as one of the most beloved actresses by the Indian audiences. She, who has given Bollywood with masterpieces such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hain, Chalte Chalte, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Hichki, Mardaani, No One Killed Jessica and a long list of other successful movies. Over the course of her long career, she has proved her versatility through varying genres and characters. Amid all, the actress is now gearing up for marking her grand presence at the infamous International Film Festival of India 2023 that is going to take place in Goa.

Rani Mukerji to attend IFFI 2023 

The acing actress will join the festival for leading a masterclass and take her fanhood through the course of skills and works she has learned over the years within the industry. Interestingly, it will be Rani's first ever attendance for the masterclass, as she was previously seen at the opening ceremony of IFFI Goa in 2013. As per the reports, Mukerji will attend the prestigious festival on 26 November 2023 for the respective masterclass that will be led by famous movie critic, Bharadwaj Rangan. The sources further stated that the skillful actress will be there in Goa for just the festival hours as she is planning to fly back to Mumbai the same night. 

Why Rani Mukerji is giving long gaps while choosing movie scripts?

Lately Rani Mukerji had been accepting lesser movies as she is waiting for a script that can make her go gaga, stated by the actress herself. Although with less movies, her previous projects like 'Mardaani 2' and 'Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway' grabbed whopping critical reviews and mass worthy box office collection. During a previous interview, she was seen talking about the long duration she is taking for choosing a movie script and stated, "The fact is that I stay at home and replenish myself. I kind of think. I kind of see cinemas from around the world - What is coming and what kind of work people are doing across the globe; Because we as actors are always waiting to get inspired as well."


Rani Mukerji's Work Front

Speaking off her work front, she was last seen in the Hindi family drama movie 'Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway' under the directorial of Ashima Chibber. The film was based on a real life incident of 2011 when a child was tragically withdrawn from a Indian family by the Norwegian government. Rani Mukerji portrayed the role of the mother of the child who was critically claimed by all over the world. Rani was also featured in a OTT documentary series 'The Romantics' and comedy drama 'Bunty Aur Babli 2'.
