Hina Khan, the beloved television actor, recently shared that she has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. On Monday, she posted a video of her first chemotherapy session on Instagram, giving her fans a glimpse into her journey.

The video starts with Hina posing on the red carpet and receiving an award. It then transitions to her walking into the hospital for chemotherapy. In the video, Hina, appearing emotional, says, "All glam is gone and I'm ready for my first chemo in the hospital. Let's get better."

In her post, Hina wrote, "This award night, I knew about my cancer diagnosis, but I made a conscious choice to normalize it - not just for myself, but for all of us. This was the day that changed everything; it marked the beginning of one of the most challenging phases of my life. So let's do some affirmations."

She added, "We become what we believe in, and I have decided to take this challenge as an opportunity to reinvent myself. I choose to keep the spirit of positivity as my first tool. I attended the event and went straight to the hospital for my first chemo. I urge everyone to normalize their challenges and set goals to overcome them. Never back down. Never give up."


Fans and industry colleagues flooded the comments with support. Dalljiet Kaur wrote, "Inspired by your spirit, Hina. Normalizing the journey is important. You will get perfectly fine and be back to receiving more awards soon." Ektaa Kapoor commented, "You're a star beyond stars!" Mouni Roy praised Hina's strength and courage, and her boyfriend, Rocky Jaiswal, called her "My fighter."


Hina confirmed her diagnosis on June 28, stating she has started treatment and is "doing well" and "fully committed" to overcoming the disease. She asked for privacy and appreciated the love and support from her fans.

On the work front, Hina is known for her roles in "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" and "Kasautii Zindagii Kay." She was recently seen in "Shinda Shinda No Papa" and the comedy-drama series "Namacool."
