Sonakshi Sinha Addresses Pregnancy Rumours Post-Wedding!
Sonakshi expressed her happiness about her marriage, saying, “I am extremely happy because this is something I have been waiting for a very long time. Now, I am exactly where I am supposed to be. It feels like being home, finally.”
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, both prominent figures in the Indian film industry, tied the knot last month in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai residence. Their union was solemnised under the Special Marriage Act, followed by a grand reception at the renowned rooftop restaurant, Bastian. The reception was a star-studded affair, graced by industry stalwarts such as Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Rekha, and Saqib Saleem, among others.
The couple's recent public appearance, walking hand in hand, has ignited speculation about Sonakshi's pregnancy. The actress was seen wearing a black polka-dotted dress, reminiscent of the attire Anushka Sharma wore during her first pregnancy announcement. Since Anushka’s memorable post, this particular dress has become a symbolic joke on the internet. Social media users often quip, "Iss dress ka matlab pregnant na," and "Legend will notice the dress," whenever a celebrity sports a similar outfit.
This is not the first time Sonakshi has been the subject of pregnancy rumours post-wedding. Shortly after their nuptials, Sonakshi was spotted visiting a hospital, which led to widespread speculation. However, it was later revealed that her visit was to see her father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, dispelling any pregnancy-related conjectures.
In an interview following her wedding, Sonakshi opened up about her life with Zaheer Iqbal. She expressed her joy, saying, “I am extremely happy because this is something I have been waiting for a very long time. Now, I am exactly where I am supposed to be. It feels like being home, finally. I enjoy spending time with Zaheer; we are truly best friends. I love being at work, being my own person, and then running back home to him. I wish it had happened sooner, but better late than never.”
