With his last project 'Ae Dil Hain Mushkil', KJo brought us an intriguing modern love story with a gripping tale of romance and drama. Now as his new directorial 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani received a massive theatrical opening of more than Rs. 11 crore at box office, it seems people are loving the story that paved a cohesive homage to the classic era of Indian cinema. Jaya Bachchan played the mesmerizing role of a powerful matriarch who is the bane of the their million-dollar empire, for whom pride comes before all. Do you remember Amitabh Bachchan from the movie 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum'? She reminded the same character as her husband played back then! While Dharmendra lacks no energy in giving away an enthralling role, Shabana Azmi on the other hand epitomizes a subtle woman of grace. Aamir Bashir and Kshitee Jog also gave a wonderful play as Rocky's parents including a special mention to Churni Ganguly and Tota Roy Chowdhury who stunned with their fiery acts as Rani's impeccable parents.
