Kiara Advani opens up about the Bollywood chatter of marrying Sidharth Malhotra during peak of her career!
When new starry actors of Bollywood are catalogued together, one name has to be on the top most priority, Kiara Advani. Kiara is known for her impeccable screen presenece and had been serving her enigmatic prowess ever since her first debut in the industry, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story seen alongside late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Over the years, she has proved her own space and worked in numerous accolading projects and she was last seen in romantic drama Satyaprem Ki Katha. Now as she prepares herself for the biggest film venture of her career, Don 3, people are quite anticipated to see their favorite actress in the dramatic action thriller engulfing herself into the Bollywood's one of a kind film franchise.
Well just ahead of Don 3, she was recently seen sitting in an chat show wherein Kiara talked about numerous aspects of her life and career in Bollywood. The actress who sat on a fairytale wedding with Sidharth Malhotra in 2023 has stated many things, including the time when she was questioned for marying at a time while her career was peaking atop. But can it be true that her wedding with Sidharth Malhotra during her peak career impacted Kiara negatively? Well she had her answers!
While talking with the news forum, she thanked her audiences for accepting her various roles in cinema as their very own leading lady without judging the non-filmy background, where she comes from. Well, it is a no easy task to make a career among lakhs of strugglers who dreams of breaking it into the cinema but amid her contrasting backgrounds, the actress stood taller than her expectation and indeed we see it how. Continuing further, she said, "When I was getting married before we publicly announced it, there was a lot of chatter about, ‘Oh my god! Why is she getting married now’, ‘She is just reaching that phase’ and all of that. But kudos to the audience because I think they have evolved."
Further she revealed her 'thanks' goes to the audience as she sees now as the the viewers do not really care about one's background if one has the caliber to pull off a movie with sheer talent. According to her, these days audience accepts her as a film character rather than labeling her into boxes of her family background. Whether one is married, single, loved, mother or a booming starlet, the audience barely sees something apart than the role an actress plays, she quipped. "I think I can say that post-marriage I have signed two of my biggest films. I think that’s changing now, Of course, all our top actresses today are married. That speaks volumes in itself. That’s a positive change," she carried her words further.
And finally, she talked about her upcoming film 'Don 3' wherin she will be playing the leading lady alongside the newest Don star Ranveer Singh. Referring on the Farhan Akhtar movie, she said, "I think it's a conscious decision; I wanted to do something different. I wanted to change it up for myself, and this was one genre that I was longing to get myself into. And that's what's exciting, right? As an actor, you are constantly stepping into different characters and making the world believe that that's who you are. There will be a tough prep for the film, but I've got time to do that. I'm very excited; I've never seen an action movie so. Now's my time to get some action in," she finished off her statement.
