Badminton Player PV Sindhu applauds 'Fighter', and Star's performance
Ace Indian badminton player PV Sindhu recently expressed her admiration for the latest Bollywood film "Fighter," directed by Siddharth Anand. Taking to her social media, Sindhu shared her thoughts on the movie, highlighting her appreciation for the performances of actors Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and the timeless Anil Kapoor.
In a post on her Instagram stories, Sindhu praised the film, saying, “What a movieee. Hrithik and Deepika just uff, Anil sir, just timeless.” Deepika Padukone, who plays the role of Minal Rathore in the film, reciprocated Sindhu's sentiments by re-posting the badminton star's post and expressing her love.
Released on January 25, "Fighter" made a strong start at the box office. However, it experienced a decrease in collections on its first Monday, with a collection of Rs 8 crore on its fifth day, bringing the total domestic collection to Rs 126.50 crore.
The film's headliner, Hrithik Roshan, shared the link to the recently released song "Dil Banaane Waaleya" on Instagram. The movie, helmed by Siddharth Anand, features Hrithik as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania (Patty), Deepika as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore (Minni), and Anil Kapoor as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh (Rocky), all fighting for the country. "Fighter" marks the first-ever on-screen collaboration between Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
Despite the box office fluctuations, "Fighter" has garnered positive reviews and word of mouth from audiences since its theatrical release on January 25. The film is praised for its massy and strong content, showcasing the talents of its star-studded cast.
