This film, inspired by true events, revolves around the tragic incident in November 2019, where four men were accused of raping and murdering a 26-year-old veterinary doctor in Shamshabad, near Hyderabad. The suspects were arrested and later shot dead by the police during a crime scene reconstruction. In 2022, the Supreme Court ruled that this encounter was staged.
About Meghna Gulzar's New Project“This is a powerful film that needs actors like Ayushmann Khurrana and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Both were shocked by the script's details. Similar to Talvar, this film could spark nationwide discussions about the case,” revealed a source close to the project.
Kareena and Ayushmann have shown interest in the film, but final agreements are still in progress and are expected to be completed in the next two weeks.
