The ceremony took place amidst the scenic backdrop of Saint Tropez, France, at the Nirvana Indian Culture and Cinema Festival, an event dedicated to recognizing outstanding achievements in film.

The highlight of the festival was undoubtedly the presentation of the 'Saint Tropez Medal' to Ashutosh Gowariker on June 1, 2024. Alongside him, other notable figures were also honoured for their significant contributions.

Among the distinguished recipients were His Excellency Jawed Ashraf, the Indian Ambassador to France and Monaco, and Lord Rami Ranger. Their dedication to fostering cultural exchange and promotion was acknowledged alongside Gowariker's cinematic achievements.
