'Animal' Movie Tickets Drop to Rs 100: Ranbir Kapoor's film, Animal, hit the screens and quickly became a blockbuster which was released in December 2023. Even after almost 40 days since its release, fans are still rushing to theaters to experience the high-octane action. The film has secured its place as one of the top-grossing movies of 2023, with global earnings nearing Rs. 900 crore. To celebrate this achievement, the makers have decided to reduce ticket prices to Rs. 100.

Despite facing tough competition from Vicky Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur', Ranbir Kapoor's Animal emerged as a massive blockbuster. However, the releases of Shah Rukh Khan's  Dunki and Prabhas' Salaar did affect its numbers to some extent. Despite criticism regarding the film's storyline, which included accusations of misogyny, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal proved to be a super hit.

To mark the film's success, a celebration was recently held where Ranbir Kapoor expressed his gratitude to the audience, saying, "I want to thank all of you for being here today to celebrate Animal. It is a film that a section of people had an issue with, but I feel the kind of love, success, and numbers prove that nothing goes beyond the love for a movie. Nothing goes beyond movies."

'Animal' On OTT Platform

For those who might have missed it in theaters, an OTT version of Animal is set to release on Netflix soon, with the exact date yet to be announced. The star-studded cast includes Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles.
