Amrish Puri’s Grandson Vardhan To Debut With ‘Paagal’, Film Releasing On July 26

The late Amrish Puri’s grandson, Vardhan Puri is ready to make his Bollywood debut with the movie ‘Paagal’. Directed by Cherag Ruparel, the film will introduce Shivaleeka Oberoi opposite Vardhan. The makers have finally set the date to release the movie on July 26.

Vardhan will play the lead in the movie which is going to be a romantic-thriller by filmmaker Jayantilal Gada. The movie is presented by Amrish Puri Films.

The movie went on floor in September as Vardhan took down to his official Instagram handle to share the beginning of his new journey. He wrote: “ “PAAGAL”

Besides, Vardhan has always been interested in acting as he has worked in theatre before. Vardhan was close to his grandfather, Amrish Puri and it was Amrish’s death in 2005 which made him decide to stick to acting.

Amrish Puri died at the age of 72 and is fondly remembered for his movies like ‘Badshah’, ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ among others.
